    Katie Dymek

     Dr. Dymek was born and raised in Poland which she left as a teenager. She received her bachelor degree in molecular physiology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary medicine finishing her clinical year at Purdue University in 2007. 
    > Before joining our practice, Dr. Dymek spent ten years working at a small animal practice in Gurnee. During that time, she also helped Lake and Cook county clinics as a relief doctor gaining tremendous amount of exposure and experience.
    > Dr. Dymek enjoys all aspect of veterinary medicine. Soft tissue surgery as well as internal medicine are her favorites. She enjoys relationship with her clients and loves educating them on the best care their can provide to their pets.
    > She lives in Gurnee area with her son, Dylan, husband, Kevin, two German Shepherds (Maria and Frida), one kitty, Levie and a few horses.
    > In her free time, Dr. Dymek spends time with her son and trains her horses in dressage. 
    > She is fluent in Polish and would be happy to see her countryman at the clinic.
    > Dr. Dymek is very excited to join Antioch Animal Hospital
